The Center for Advanced Genomic Technologies (CAGT) brings researchers together, encouraging an interdisciplinary approach to identify needs and address gaps associated with the development and application of innovative genomic technologies, as well as methods for interpreting the data generated by these approaches. By working together, we leverage unique technical capabilities and expertise while collaborating to tackle challenges that cannot be addressed by any one approach or laboratory in order to maximize our impact on scientific discovery and human health. Technologies and expertise in our current focus areas are synergistic, creating a high-throughput pipeline for discovering gene function, annotating the non-coding genome, interpreting the role of genetic variation in disease and drug response, generating novel models of disease, and developing transformative genetic medicines.
