The Center for Advanced Genomic Technologies (CAGT) brings researchers together and encourages interdisciplinary collaboration. We aim to identify needs and address gaps associated with developing and applying innovative genomic technologies, and the methods needed to interpret the data generated by these approaches.

By working together, we leverage unique technical capabilities and expertise to tackle challenges that cannot be addressed by any one approach or laboratory. This maximizes our impact on scientific discovery and human health.

Technologies and expertise in our current research focus areas are synergistic and create a high-throughput pipeline for discovering gene function, annotating the non-coding genome, interpreting the role of genetic variation in disease and drug response, generating novel models of disease, and developing transformative genetic medicines.
